What is a podcast?
A podcast is a special feed which will automatically download new audio and video recordings to your computer as they become available. These recordings can then be placed on your iPod or other portable music player to listen to anytime.
How to listen to a podcast
To listen to our podcasts, you’ll need iTunes 4.9 or higher. You can download the latest version of iTunes from www.itunes.com. Once you have iTunes installed on your computer, follow the step-by-step instructions below.
Step by step instructions
Click the “Subscribe to Podcast” button at the top of this page. iTunes will open the iTunes music store at the Skoll World Forum’s podcast page. Click the subscribe button in the top panel. If you’d rather download individual sessions, click the “Get Episode” button next to the sessions you’d like to hear.
The latest edition of the Skoll World Forum podcast, or the individual sessions that you’ve selected, will begin downloading to your hard drive. You can then listen to your downloads through iTunes, or load them onto a portable music device such as an iPod.
iTunes will check periodically for new editions of the Skoll World Forum podcast. Whenever a new edition is available it will automatically download into your iTunes library.
